So staying within the Puerto Romano Resort my next favourite restaurant or 'nightspot' is The Supper Club. Again this is a quick 10 minute drive from Casa Kibo (roughly €13-20 in Uber).

This is not one to bring the children to. In fact I'm not sure if they accept under 18's.

Tables are limited and table bookings are for the evening from 9pm so book well in advance during peak times. There are a limited number of tables available for walk-ins but the queue is always long so have a back-up plan. If it's fully booked ask to go on the wait list. We've done this twice and both times have been offered a table a few days before.

An alternative option to watch some of the show if you can't get a table is to go for dinner elsewhere then visit the Monkey Club for after dinner drinks and grab a table on the terrace which looks down onto the Supper Club. Although be aware sometimes they do close the roof of the Supper Club.

Before dining you can head for pre-dinner drinks in the Plaza which is just outside.

This is not a venue you go to for the food. The menu is not extensive and it's not cheap but you are paying for the show not just the food.

The starters are for sharing and you also get an amuse-bouche. Main courses are delivered during the show around 9.30pm. I have had the lamb cutlets and the free range coguelet which were both good. For starters I recommend the fried chilli squid and smoked aubergine. There is a decent wine and cocktail list and the service is attentive.

Which brings me onto the show; The show is awesome with dancers, acrobats, fire jugglers, stilt walkers you name it, all backed up with fabulous live music and DJ's. The show lasts for approx 1.5 hours and after if you are in a dancing mood you can join other guests for a boogie on the main stage which is great fun.

The DJ finishes at midnight, but if you are still in a dancing mood you can head to La Suite, which is open until the early hours. The entrance is inside the restaurant so it's not far to walk!

Dress code; glam it up!
